I went to the cemetery by my house because I had read in the paper that the local 5th graders had just gone and put flags by all the veterans’ headstones. I thought it’d be appropriate for Memorial Day to post one of the pictures I took. First is the original, then I tried 2 different effects; an aged photo (these vets are from 1861), and then I just desaturated the photo and colored the flags. Not sure which I like best. There was so much neat stuff to photograph there, you’ll likely be seeing much more from this cemetery!

These are some lillies Rachel got at her dance recital. I used a color boost action and added an impressionist frame.

My family came down for a BBQ today. We sat outside and enjoyed the cooler weather. This is a picture of Uncle Fred and Gracie. He hasn’t seen her since the morning she was born!

Dylan decided to have some fun and hide from me. Guess where I found him? In Sean’s guitar case! Dylan thought it was hilarious to be hiding in there and hammed it up for the camera.

I thought she’d be too little for the exersaucer, but she does great!

My spirea started blooming this week. It’s very pretty.

My azalea is in full bloom!

I was bored while waiting for my friend in the car today, so I snapped a quick picture of the sun with my cell phone. Here are the before and after pictures. I used a Modern Art action, that’s it.
